Welcome to the Texas Living History Association website (if you are looking for the Texana Living History Association, please find a link to their webpage on our Links page). Here you will find information about the organization, tools for improving living history skills, and information on living history events and educational opportunities throughout Texas.

Living history is an activity that recreates the past through the use of historical clothing, objects, activities, and environments. Individuals, groups and families across Texas participate in living history as professionals, volunteers, and hobbyists.
The goal of TLHA is to support living history in Texas by encouraging the interaction and cooperation between individuals and institutions engaged in living history and through the development of public support for and interest in living history in Texas. THLA will also offer training and mentoring opportunities that otherwise do not exist in the state.

TLHA encompasses all historical eras and is open to anyone interested in living history.
